They definitely don’t tell you before hand
We found mice in our flat

How do I draw Frames?
A Scout is a local expert, often a fellow renter, trained to conduct unbiased, "no-filter" property inspections on your behalf. They act as your private eyes and ears to verify the truth before you sign a lease.
Is HouseScout affiliated with estate agencies?
Absolutely not. We are 100% independent and never take commissions from landlords or agents. Our only loyalty is to providing you with the unfiltered truth.
How do I request a viewing?
Simply paste a link from any major listing platform (like Rightmove or Zoopla) into our app. We then match you with a nearby Scout who handles the agency coordination and the walkthrough. If you’d like to know more about how the Searcher’s or Scout’s journey, visit our How it Works page.
How long do I need to wait for the report?
We guarantee that your property request will be picked up by a scout in 24 hours, the scout will update with viewing dates. The report will go live 0.5-1 hour post viewing.
What happens if the property is already let?
If a property is taken before our Scout can attend, your mission fee is fully refunded or can be credited toward your next property search
What is included in the report?
You receive high-definition, unedited video walkthroughs, photos of all areas (including under sinks, window seals and other commonly damaged areas), the scout’s comments, and a final issues score per room and possible additional costs it might take to repair to help you decide with confidence.
